Get to Know this O2 Fitness Personal Trainer

We sat down with one of our Cary location trainers, Justin, to find all about his daily schedule, favorite workout and why he loves working at O2 Fitness. Here’s what he had to say.
How long have you been a trainer at O2?
I have been a trainer at O2 Fitness for 4.5 years and have trained for the last 6.
What's your favorite workout?
My favorite workout is back day. Deadlifts, pull ups, rows, those are my favorite exercises. Even if it's not what I'm the best at, I just enjoy working my back.
Why are you passionate about fitness?
I'm passionate about fitness because outside of my own personal enjoyment of exercise and physical activity, I see people struggle with completing what I consider simple tasks like tying shoes or playing with their kids or grandkids and I know that through exercise they can improve their ability to live the life the way they want.
What’s something you enjoy doing outside of work?
I like to do my own mechanical work on my vehicles. Outside of the easy routine maintenance like changing oil or rotating tires, I've changed my suspension, replaced my radiator and hoses, spark plugs, belts, etc.
Why train with O2?
I believe everyone can benefit from exercising with a personal trainer because even the best have a coach or a trainer. Athletes, actors and actresses, and even someone like Michael Phelps have coaches and trainers. The reason for this is because someone else who is knowledgeable and dedicated to their client will always be able to push an individual harder than they could do on their own. Results come faster and usually the individual ends up surpassing what they themselves even thought was possible.
